Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

Published by bturner at 6:40 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Gearing up to open in Spring 2009 at Universal Studios Florida, the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coaster is shaping up to be an amazing ride experience. The coaster will be located next to the Jimmy Neutron ride at Universal, and its track will actually travel over the lagoon that is centered among Universal, Island of Adventure, and Citywalk.

In addition to being a spectacular thrill ride, shooting riders straight up before plunging and whirling through extreme loops and close calls, the coaster will feature a unique interactve experience for guests. Riders will be able to choose the music they’d like to ride to, which will then play during the ride. The entire ride will be videotaped, and riders will be able to edit and send the videotape to others once they finish the ride. While there’s no information yet on how this is going to happen, we hope the park will make it simple, but more importantly, not charge for the video service, as its being touted as part of the ride.
