If you can’t get enough of hurricanes in Florida…

Published by bturner at 8:45 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Check out StormStruck at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center. Located in Innovations East, Stormstruck is a 15 minute 4-D show that simulates the experience of being in a hurricane. It features water, rumbling in the seats, and other real life action to add to the experience. The show is scary, and probably not a safe bet for children under 7. Its not nearly as intense at the Twister attraction at Universal, however.

The show is meant to be both entertaining and educational, and the movie itself is followed by a quiz on construction techniques that are most likely to survive a hurricane. The experience is lead by a park employee called a “stormologist,” who guides guests through the attraction and answers questions about storms.

If you just can’t get enough of the storms, or your curious what all the fuss is about, give StormStruck a try the next time you’re at Epcot.
