For the 11th year in a row, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio was awarded the title of World’s Best Theme Park by Amusement Today. The magazine published it’s annual Golden Ticket results this week (named of course, for the golden tickets from the Willy Wonka movie), and Cedar Point took many top honors. In addition to the biggest prize of best park, they received the honor of having 5 of their coasters among the top 25 in the world. In addition, Cedar Point earned a top 5 placement in the Best Indoor Waterpark category as well as the Best Halloween Event division (where top honors went to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, of course).

Let’s see if Cedar Point can pull off another top year and make it 12 years of being the best!
